Helene’s experience
Helene Banner is an international Keynote Speaker, moderator, political communication expert and leadership mentor.
She founded her leadership project "Let's Just Be Imperfect, Ladies" in 2020. During her 10-year career at the European Commission, she was a spokesperson, head of communication and eventually presidential speechwriter for Jean-Claude Juncker. In July 2019 she advised and accompanied now-President Ursula von der Leyen in the weeks when she became the first woman in this office.
In the past years, Helene inspired audiences as a host and Keynote Speaker at conferences ranging from the SHE Conference in Oslo, the Oxford Union, the European Commission and private sector champions.
Helene teaches a workshop on political communication, speechwriting and media work as a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges.
