Speech: “Why aren’t more women applying for senior positions?”
Why are so many companies still struggling to hire more women into senior management positions?
Spoiler: it is not because women lack confidence.
The true reason is that most work places have been created with a "default man" in mind.
As long as the unwritten rules of corporate success still favour typically "masculine" qualities, many companies will continue to struggle to attract women to their top positions.
The recipe of change is to stop trying to 'fix' women and start asking them for what they need...
